The Space Elevator Development Wiki

Mission

This wiki is intended to be a repository of information and a baseline for research of the space elevator. More about this WIki and the effort

Goals

  1. Provide accurate information on the construction of a viable space elevator
  2. Be the source of technical information during the initial stages of construction

New Work Completed

12/12/08 Brad Edward's presentation on manned travel up the elevator is uploaded.

10/23/08 GTOSS source code is now publicly available.

7/30/08 Added page in the baseline ribbon on dynamics focusing on work by David Lang

7/26/08 New work space on woven interconnects. Go to Work Space #1 under the second issue on the ribbon page

7/24/08: Exponential Tether Deployment by Blaise Gassend under Deployment

Activities of Individuals:
  • Individuals and what they are working on
  • This page summarizes the activities of various participants
  • New users should feel free to add their name and information

Open Work Space:
  • Go to this page and you will find links to open workspace pages.
  • These work spaces are open for anyone to use for space elevator development work
  • Pages may have different templates and some will already have work in progress.
